Brandel Chamblee was going on and on about how the winner of the first
match has won 13 out of the previous 19 Ryder Cups. I don't know about you, but a predictor with only about 2 out of 3 odds isn't that great a predictor. It's one match. If it was the first
session, maybe that would carry a bit more weight, but the first
match? Meh.
Reminds me of the first hitter (Willie Mays Hayes) reaching base and then being picked off in
Major League and how the season can be determined by the first hitter of the year in baseball.
