Yes, Virginia, there will be a Dixie Cup in 2018!

Dixie Cup 2018 will take place Nov 16-18 in Pawleys Island, SC.

We will play Friday at True Blue Plantation. Tee times begin at 12:18pm.


Saturday and Sunday at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club. Tee times begin at 8:33am each day.


Accommodations will be at True Blue condos adjacent to the golf courses.

The total cost for participating in Dixie Cup 2018 is $376 per player (includes three rounds of golf, Fri & Sat night accommodations, practice range each day and all taxes).

We have reserved space for 20 24 players... first come, first served. Initial registration closed on 9/30.

FORMAT
Net Stableford Scoring - Top 8 scores from each team will count toward total score each day.
Double Bogie = 0
Bogie = 1
Par = 2
Birdie = 3
Eagle = 4

Once your registration is received AND your playing position is confirmed we will send you instructions for paying your deposit. A $100 deposit is due to be paid immediately upon receiving these instructions.

For those who are interested:  we have organized a game at Yeamans Hall (Thursday) and Bulls Bay (Monday). You will be booked into one of these games (or not) per a separate registration form. The details and instructions on registering for these games will be sent to you upon confirmation of your deposit payment for the main event.

How many holes are we intending to play?  Will there be enough daylight for 36?

Count me in.  The extra round at Bulls Bay or Yeaman would be terrific.  While at the Chattanooga DC, the round at Holston Hills was terrific.

Steve - We are just planning for 18 holes per day due to daylight issues, but we might be able to squeeze in an emergency extra nine... especially if we play a scramble or something that moves along fast.

We can now take 24 players!!!

Since we have already filled our 20 spots for the Dixie Cup I've contacted Caledonia/True Blue and added an additional tee time each day.

Remember... you are not on the list until you register and pay your deposit.

Registration closes on September 30. If someone has not paid their deposit by that date they will be dropped from the list... no exceptions!

Having booked my homeward flt for 1610, I’d very much like to go off as early as possible on Sunday.  Of course, a Monday tee time at Yeaman’s Hall would change everything.

The Caeledonia & True Blue web sites do not give any indication of the Florence flood problem.  Any information?

There was no damage to either of these 2 courses.  They re-opened Monday 9/17.

It's rainy and wet here in Seattle.  My Colorado trip is getting snowed out!  I need a South Carolina vacation!  Slightly tone-deaf, I know, as the SE is dealing with weather systems far more serious than my own petty needs.  Be safe.
