I'd be interested in hearing thoughts on maintaining punchbowl greens 12-months p/a, especially ones that are NOT on sandy sites.

A fun 9 holer near Spokane, WA has this.  Its mostly punchbowl (on 3 sides) in which they put a drain in the green on the front part to keep it dry.


Its a par 5 and is enhanced by a large mound in front of the green so most approach shots are completely blind.  Always made it fun to see where you ended up.
