Bandon Par 3 Course Version 2?

A friend just returned from Bandon and his caddy told him that they are looking at putting another Par 3 course out beside the third fairway of Bandon Trails.  Has anyone else picked up that rumor as well?

Yes, had a conversation about it last night over dinner while talking about the putting course and the "second par 3 course" kind of slipped out. Did not pursue details but seems to be something they are actively working on/toward.

Also indicated the land for Bandon Muni was pretty much a done deal, contrary to what I have read but this person would certainly know.

Was curious if this had slipped do to Sheep Ranch moving up a bit on the schedule.

I laid out a course 2+ years ago, which had some great holes on it.  But I'm not sure they are ever going to build it.  The land is all part of the Preserve, so any profits from the course would have to go to charity.


It's more likely to happen then the Bandon Muni though ... perhaps Greg T's meaning of a "done deal" was irony.
