Shinny Newbie! Where to watch the design shine.
« on: June 10, 2018, 10:13:00 PM »

As a guide for those who have never been, where would the Shinny experts go to watch the pros?  Are there certain places on the course that are not to be missed, either for the design and/or for the view?
Going on Tuesday and excited to roam the course and watch the pros plan their strategy.

Thanks!

A nice spot out on the course is someplace close to 12 tee:

Watch tee shots on par 3 #11, approaches into #10 and of course tee balls on 12 which includes a nice vista.

Enjoy the tournament at Shinnecock Hills, one of the golf courses I choose as best in the United States.

I spent a lot of time on the right edge of the 4th fairway today and I quickly realized it offers a great view of the redan green. I could watch pros hit shots into that green all day.
