Ross in Philadelphia.

I played LuLu yesterday which is a gca favorite and a fun day for me.

The Ross courses I know of are
  Aronimink
  Frankford/Torresdale
  St. David’s
  Riverton
  Jeffersonville
  Gulph Mills
  LuLu

What are the others and how do these courses stand up versus other cities?
I think it’s a representative and strong group.

I play Aronimink Sunday and have been speaking to people who want to take me to Gulph Mills and F/T in the near future.

Schuylkill CC
Huntingdon Valley Country Club's 14th Green
Overbrook (heavily McGovern)

Schuylkill started with 9 holes of Willie Park, Jr. The greens are equal to any set on your list.

Americas guest?   GM is a great track, cool greens.
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.

Mike - Enjoy Aronimink. (I am playing there tomorrow.) I think #16 has changed the most with the work Gil did. Look forward to your thoughts and reaction to it.

Kyle, was the local legend of Joe Kirkwood designing that 14th green at HVCC just that?

Another Ross course nearby is the former Silver Creek CC in Hellertown, Northampton County, now known as The Steel Club:

Ross is turning over in his grave at the
Overbrook attribution.

He may have built it off the Ross plans/modifications due to the re-alignment of Welsh Road that didn't happen.

My understanding is the Kirkwood was more involved with softening some of the fall-aways on 2, 3, and 16.

It's a great green either way. Neat change of pace from the Flynn.
