Gentlemen, start your engines. Economic hard times haven't hit one industry. Sheri's Ranch, a 'well know' "establishment" in Parumph NV intends tol break ground on their own 18 hole golf course this year. Water on 13 holes. No idea who the architect is, or how or why they were chosen, or the contractors. Timeshares available for residences. Course may have impressive mounding. Cart girls, too.

The halfway house should be a treat.  I'm sure they will have red flags on the flagsticks.

I stumbled on this thru an AOL news item which said that Nevada legislators were looking to resolve budget shortfalls thru additional taxing of some entertainements, golf was excluded. Very interesting financial dynamics outside of Reno and Las Vegas counties. Perhaps the girls can get around this by asking clients to pay dividends.

Green fees are negotiable. You have the on her.

   GCAers are always known to "play it as it lies" and all would happily do so there.

    You will find both artificial and natural mounding.

    The greens would have great movement both internally and externally.

   Where's Cirba? This is his cup of tea (or shot of tequila out in the desert).

When I read your title, "The Oldest Professional", I thought you might be referring to Beverly CC's Professional Emeritus, Dick Carparelli.  Dick has been at Beverly for 55 years, I believe! ;) :)

   Knew that had to happen. 55 years- that's an enviable record. Hard to imagine anyone going past forty years. Closest I ever met was John Donoghue in Hesketh England, pro there since 1964.
