Well, the title and your opening question may represent two different things - favorite vs. played most by participants.
What course has been played the most might be quite different than what the average gca. com participant would call their favorites.
I have played all four of your suggestions, and all but Bandon courses on multiple occasions. In fact, depending on list, I have played at least 75 of the world top 100, but most only once each.
As to my favorites (and I think I will start a trend here for not being able to narrow it down to 1) would be
Royal Melbourne Composite
San Francisco
Seminole (pre-latest bunker work, since its been a while)
You will notice similarities, which IMHO are stout and attractive bunkering, and few water hazards, if that tells you anything about WHY I like those courses.
And lastly, to tie to a few weeks old thread, for any golfer living the golf life to the fullest, the only correct answer on "favorite course" is "the next one I play."
