Top 20 PA Publics & Top 10 in Philly & Delaware
« on: April 27, 2018, 05:07:27 PM »
According to the Harrisburg Patriot-News.  Rees Jones' Totteridge, no longer private, made the list and so did his Broad Run, formerly Tattersall. I don't think there are any surprises in the Top5 but I haven't played Mystic Rock or Olde Stonewall.  Bedford Springs is very good. Don't miss the comments.

Glen Mills, and most of Bobby Weed's work, really fit my eye for whatever reason. Clean but artistic. They don't always play quite as well, but they always look fantastic.

It was a good attempt at trying to include different areas of the state and many should be on the list, yet there are several head scratchers for me.  I think the following are worthy of inclusion:

Jeffersonville
LuLu
Galen Hall
Pilgrim's Oak

I played Links at Gettysburg a ton in college tournaments. It is a memorable golf course with some really interesting and unique holes.

Some holes on the back are overly difficult and get a lot wrong strategically. But there are some big elevation changes and unique features in the land that make the course definitely worth a round or two. Carts are kind of a must but we did walk it in college so it is doable.
