Off the top of my head;
is a cool short par 3 that has a good green and is approached best from left
is an ok hole, but green is really good.
I like the hole a lot, shortish hole, hard fairway to hit, don’t go long
is a longish dog leg left
is a great Flynn par five with a perched, well protected green
is a par three that I really liked. Tough green to read.
is an ok par 4
is a newer par 3
goes steeply uphill, green with a lot of back to front slope.
is possibly the best hole on the course. Right to left the whole way. Redanish par 4, downhill
is a long par five with a cross hazard. I butchered it.
is kind of a modern par three to green surrounded by rock wall along front. Green is good
is a mid length 4 with creek taking driver out of some players
is an all world hole with creek along left. Longer hole doglegs left. Tough approach
is another really good short par 3 with small undulating green
another mid length par 4 with that creek again
is the island green hole, but the hole is made by the bunkering at the perfect places through the FW
is a par 5. Green is good. Hole is uphill.
I really like Cherry Hills. Has moved from possibly being overrated to underrated, at least on Golf Week Classic list. I suspect this might even out some in the ensuing years. Fun course. Altitude is cool, and I really like the greens. Yes they have decent contours.
