The European Tour are playing at Al-Mouj, Muscat, Oman this week. First time they’ve been there although the Euro Challenge Tour has been there the last couple of years.

I have quite a few friends that have played it and they really enjoyed it.  It is on the water although parallel to the water and really flat. It also is fairly cheap compared to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.  It is probably maybe 130-150 USD I'm guessing, compared to 250-300 for the top courses in UAE.  It is on my list and was supposed to go with a guy whose brother worked at Muscat Hills before Al-Mouj even opened.  I think there are a couple other 9 hole courses in Oman but this one is the best and I'm looking forward to going.

The rain is pouring down at home so I’m watching on TV the Oman Open from this course on the European Tour.
I also had a look at the location on Instantstreeview and every hole seems to be viewable from 360* - worth a look -
