Eagles could build a golf course.

Eagles kept it firm and fast. They used strategy. They made few bogies.

Congrats to 99% of Philadelphians on their joyous victory.  Not sure when riots became the norm for celebrations, but then, I guess I am just an old fogey.  At least there were no reports of random shootings, which seemed to accompany the Cowboys Super Bowl wins.

Great analogy,  defintely a ton of risk/reward action going on, with a few long "bombs" made from way downtown....

P.S.  Whats the golf equivalent of the QB trick play on 4 and 1at the goal line.  That took massive stones to call that one....

I think they may have played the percentages -- just so rare to see anyone take a good gamble in the NFL that it looks audacious.

HORRIFIC SCENES?   oh please, fake news. More folks died in shootings in Chicago at halftime than were hurt in Philly. Plus no one punched a horse. I seem to recall more damage due to the " peace protestors" the weekend Trump was inaugurated?

Leave Philly alone, we are having a good time.

If anyone here belongs to the Union League how about a lunch the day of the parade?
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.

True. It will become an angry NFL fan mantra: "Dammit, I wish they played like the Eagles!

Horses#it Ed, you don't get a pass, especiallly with your ignorant little Chicago slander.
We had a Cubs World Series parade celebration in Chicago with about 2-Million Cubs Fans from around the world lining the entire route from Wrigley to Downtown without incident. No fires, no flipped cars and over 100 Police Horses.
And not s ingle can of Crisco was cracked open for a single Light Pole!!!
Nice Try. Though.  :D  Those are Philly People Behaving Badly on TV even on Fox News!

http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/02/05/philly-celebration-turns-rowdy-after-eagles-win-super-bowl.html

You should be thankful the "Peace Protesters" at the inauguraton were there to increase the attendance!  :D
That's Real Philly news, and Real Crisco on Real Philly Light poles. I'm buying J.M Smuckers Stock (Crisco Manufacturer) today in anticipation of the Philly Celebration Parade!  Go ahead, park your car outside Union League club parade day, it will be fine.
CRISCO,... really?   Please.

Before you throw stones at my hometown golf course architectural goobers, I suggest a google search first :)

After each of the Bulls' NBA titles, crimes were committed under the cover of celebration. Looters crashed West Side stores on midnight shopping sprees and arsonists set fires. More recently, following the Blackhawks Stanley Cup title, revelers went overboard throwing bottles at police and vandals damaged Lincoln Park stores."We do have enough resources in place to mobilize city-wide if necessary," said Richard Guidice, director of Chicago Office of Emergency Management.Since the Bulls and Blackhawks began dynasty-building 25 years ago, each championship has been followed by some violence and police have refined their crowd control tactics.Hundreds of uniformed officers boarded buses Wednesday afternoon and were taken to Wrigleyville to set a perimeter and checkpoints, backed by Illinois State Police that have an armored SWAT vehicle tucked away on a side street just in case.

Let's add "Police Preparation" to the long list of things that Michael Jordan brought to Chicago. Dr J, from golf rich Long Island, still lives in Philly. Where does Michael live now ?? :)

I have been back to my hometown three times since Thanksgiving for college sporting events, and yes, they/it/dammit-we are slightly nuts. What do you expect after spending 30+ years at Veterans Stadium!!

I even ran into Philly friends at the Army Navy game that have no connection to the game other than being sports junkies :)
