2018 Kings Putter?
« on: March 31, 2017, 11:02:53 AM »
ideas thus far

Pete. L offers

"We do have a handful of gca members at Olympic Club, perhaps they can step up to the plate and have a small group out?

On the public side how about an outing in Bend Or.? We could play Juniper, Tetherow and Sunriver?

An Az. outing might attract a crowd in the winter months, the stay and play package at Fort MacDowell is attractive with the two courses at We Ko Pa. (We Ko Pa and Talking Stick and Top Golf    8) 8) )"

Also Greg Tallman indicated he would host an event in Cabo; pricey but very tempting!

there is always Las Vegas

Frank S. likes AZ

Rick E. likes Bandon

Alex M. could see LA happening, Rustic plus....

Pete P. likes somewhere with buggies

Tom Doak likes LACC N and S via Shack or Tommy N.
as well as Harding, Lincoln, Sharp plus  you could also Tilden and Gleneagles, lots of local flavor

any other ideas

thank you

LA CC N & S would draw a crowd like Sherwood did regardless of the other venues attached.
I love golf, the fightin irish, and beautiful women depending on the season and availability.

no doubt Tim, that would be a tough get for sure, plus everyone would need to wear pants  :)

Alex has a good idea with a Rustic plus plus plan if LA LA Land is where folks decide

Rustic and Wilshire and/or Brentwood would be pretty sweet...

Posted to the Feature Interiew thread Ran currently has at the top of the discussion group.

Thanks for the interview Ran.

Until now, all I have heard was that Fircrest was the most true to original Macan out there. It certainly appears that Jeff is doing great research for the work he does as he certainly appears to have disproved that. Great job Jeff!

On another note, Overlake, Fircrest, Broadmoor, and Inglewood would make a great Kings Putter event in April should you choose to organize it Jeff. ;D

Buda organized by archies Ally and Robin at Carne and Enniscrone, with addtional rounds at Strandhill and Roses Point was the best event I have attended.
