We had a glorious afternoon at Headingley. It seems a lt of work has been done removing trees, so although the flyover on the club's website suggested it would be tight, the trees actually weren't that much of an intrusion, though I still think there's more that could be done here. The other thing the flyover didn't reveal was hoe hilly the course was.
Like its near neighbours at Sand Moor and Moortown, there has been some rerouting, with the 7th, 8th and 9th being (relatively) new holes. Whilst each good holes, they feel a little different to the rest and slightly interrupt the flow. Overall, though, a very good course. I may try to post some photos, if I can work out how to do that post Photo-Bucket.
As to the matches, Duncan was far too good for me, whilst Ben edged out Andy.
