Welcome to Florida.


With no grade and the water table just inches below ground, you have to build up to stay dry and build features.  That requires digging ponds to get material.  Golf holes near coastal Florida have either houses on the left and water on the right, or water on the left and houses on the right.

I anticipated the usual comments about Florida development courses- too much water, etc.. There are exceptions to popular thought but I trusted my friend's recommendation as he is a former collegiate golfer at my alma mater and active in the golf business  I'm glad Adam Lawrence liked the course and wrote about it . As I said, get there before all the houses are built.
