I agree, there is some good land in Northern Utah...if you can find terrain that isn't too extreme.  The bigger issue I think with having a top notch course here would be weather and the corresponding maintenance.  The summers get so hot, they have to put a lot of water down so the greens don't bake out.  Golf in the fall is usually the best time, especially when the trees start turning.


There is a fair amount of 4 to 6 on the DS here in Northern Utah, but most of it is private in Park City.

I had heard the name Jimmy Blair playing in the tournaments in the intermountain west over the years.  It wasn't until I moved to Wyoming near Utah that I realized that is where he was from.  Great father/son story with a lot of wisdom from Dad.  I am officially a fan of Zac and wish the very best as his dream becomes reality.   The story is one of the best I have read in some time.

I've played the 9 holer a few times at Mulligans.  While it won't make Anthony's book, its a fun little course with some interesting stuff.  The range facilities are the star of the show though, it is THE place to go to hit balls in Salt Lake county with heated bays, mats, grass range, and a large chipping area.
