There is no difference in our bluegrass from fairway to rough.  Just two different heights of cut on the same bluegrass, which was sodded initially.  What do you mean by slow growing?  As in slow to fill in or slow to get longer?  If it's the latter what's the problem?

Regular bluegrass will grow in at the same rate as lowmow, but if you're seeding it into a lowmow, that will be problems down the road. Not meant to be mowed that low.

Im referring to already established low mow blue mixed with regular blue.  Many keepers that have low mow blue in their roughs have to wait a long time for it to pop in the spring.  I was wondering if keepers who maint low mow in fairways mix with regular blue?  Dealing with cart traffic in fairways in the spring.

Exactly. Seeding blue into low mow wont grow it in any faster than the low mow.

Regular bluegrass will grow in at the same rate as lowmow, but if you're seeding it into a lowmow, that will be problems down the road. Not meant to be mowed that low.
