I just had the pleasure of revisiting Joe Bausch's photos of several Philadelphia courses. First of all, the photos are fantastic as many of you know. Second, it is impressive how many terrific courses there are in the area. I walked Philadelphia Cricket when our Assistant Pro made it to the PGA Club Professional Championship there a couple of years ago, but really had no idea of the depth of courses.
But my question: from the photos of Aronimink, it appears that the greens have more serious interior contours than the Ross courses that I have played. Am I misreading the photos or is it just that I have not played enough Ross courses (Broadmoor East and West, PH2, Pine Needles, Hope Valley, Mid Pines, Seaview, and Evanston are my limited list)?
