Has this course got your number?  I've heard it's a tough test.

Bunkering looks familiar....

Modern stags' designated architect?

Quadricreek CC?

Haven't been to this state in awhile, since two prominent
designs (one by GCA-participating architect) aren't available.

The club was also recently purchased by its' members and the name was slightly changed....  Supposedly, one of the best tests in this large metro area....

One of the architect's other designs held the 2003 US Amateur Pub Links championship this year.

Jimmy,

I see you're right.  Ugh.  Stupid rename.  No need to change
it, as the original was simpler and unpretentious.

Is this course twice as good as Two Rivers in Williamsburg, VA?

Located in Ally McTownsville?

Anyone bored enough to pay attention to my posts of my
fave baseball team would get the state correct.

Turtle U. country.

Co-architect is Squeaky-inspired Tour player for which our
esteemed Bob H. hails from the same area.

Real architect "lost in the finals" for Bandon #3, still an honor in it's own right.

This is The Members Club at Four Streams, in Beallsville, MD,
designed by Steve Smyers and Nick Price.  It was formerly
just "plain ole" Four Streams GC, which is perfectly fine and
unpretentious, but when the members bought the club
recently, they changed the name.

There is an excellent course tour at the club's web site here:

http://www.fourstreams.com

other clues include:

"Has this course got your number?" = 4

"I've heard it's a tough test" = 75.5/138

"Modern stags' designated architect?" = Smyers has designed
courses for 2 modern men-only clubs:  Wolf Run and Old Memorial

"Quadricreek CC?" = Four streams

"Haven't been to this state in awhile, since two prominent
designs (one by GCA-participating architect) aren't available."
=  MD, where Beechtree and Bulle Rock are still not available.

"Supposedly, one of the best tests in this large metro
area...." = D.C. area

"One of the architect's other designs held the 2003 US
Amateur Pub Links championship this year. " = Blue Heron
Pines - East

"Is this course twice as good as Two Rivers" = 2 X two rivers = 4 streams

"Located in Ally McTownsville?" = Ally Mc"Beal"lsville

"Anyone bored enough to pay attention to my posts of my
fave baseball team would get the state correct" = Orioles in MD

"Co-architect is Squeaky-inspired Tour player for which our
esteemed Bob H. hails from the same area." = Nick Price from
Zimbabwe and former caddie Jeff Medlin.

"Turtle U. country.' = U of Maryland Terrapins.

up"stream" from the white house =  not far from the Potomac
