I am very interested in hearing where Keiser is going to have Jim design a course. I have a dream to have a course built here in Colorado Springs, and Jim Urbina would be the first person I would have look at the site.

Exactly. Just Northeast of the airport.

Stephen:

In answer to your question, I think it would be really cool if Mike Keiser and Jim Urbina co-designed the next golf course at Sand Valley or Cabot Links. I understand that Mike is likely not the kind of guy to put his name on a course, but he deserves it after all of his successes.  Further, he certainly knows enough to significantly contribute to the design (as I am sure he has done with all of his courses).  Jim would be the perfect compliment in terms of construction expertise and demeanor.

Stephen/ Michael

The photo above is land just east of Denver about an hours drive from downtown.  While working with Rupert at Ballyneal I found several sites closer to Denver.  The photo was recently taken on the approach to DIA.

You can find several pockets of Dunes like this photo shows, its just trying to find someone who would want to develop a golf course that could support local play.  As Denver and Colorado Springs continues to grow maybe these sites I have seen are not out of the reality of local play in the not too distant future.

Thank you Kevin

Jim,

Are those the dunes to the north of I76 near Roggen?  I've had my eye on them for a long time!

Tom,

The land I was referrering to was south of Kersey,  you are right the Roggen dunes are scrumptious, Fort Morgan and points south have several BIG  pieces of property that have  Sand Dunes spread across the high plains.

Everytime I come home on the plane I take a peek out the window and say, If only!!!!!
