Never played there, but I don't believe it's worth your drive...

Bellport? is that semi private?
August is not difficult to access many privates that are nearer the city as all their members are out east or elsewhere on vacation.

Brentwood is a [color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]Devereux Emmet design. The course has great bones. I used to play high school matches there. There are some fun short holes.... Not sure it is a destination course though. [/color]
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.87)]There was an earlier comment about Bellport. That is worth the drive. Great Raynor design that I believe may have been assisted by Charles Banks. They have made some great changes there lately. [/color]
