Here's a good local tree removal story at Maple Chase in Winston-Salem. Helping sight lines, recovery play, turf condition -- everything.

Dunlop,

Thanks for sharing that. Any before after shots? That would be interesting.

I am a member and although no photos, I can tell, you the back nine was mainly forested hazard and marked as such left and right of 10, 11, left on 14. There is still OB right on 14 but it is cleaned out getting to it. Now you can stand on 14 tee and look down the hill (which you never really noticed) all the way to 3 green- several thousand yards. It is quite dramatic. They could not battle the woods between 12 and 13 due to the terrain but settled for a few skirmishes. 16 17 and 18 where largely untouched due to land ownership but there was a touch up on 17. Having been playing the course since 1985 I should have been aware of the elevation changes but the trees masked them. It is quite an amazing reversion.

When I opened this thread I expected it to be about Mark Pritchett.
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.
