I find it interesting that although NGLA was the gold standard of the era that more efforts did not include a parcel of land anywhere near as large. At 250 acres NGLA dwarfs St. George's which sits on 150 acres. That said St. George's is a wonderful mix of holes on an interesting piece of land that just exudes fun. So many quirky design features and options make it an absolute blast to play and the panoramic views out over the golf course from the back deck of the clubhouse are sensational.
