Holes are sometimes inspired by or copied from or replica's of etc.
So how about revising the 18th green and bunkering at TOC to be akin to how the green and bunkering has been changed on the 7th at ANGC? :)  (Sic)

One man's opinion, to which he is entitled.

Isn't the question presented best interpreted as, "How would you screw up 18 on TOC with a bunker?"  Lots of good ideas so far.

Right greenside, hard against the OB stakes, maybe even extending to mid green . Give the town folks something more to cheer for and laugh about.
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.

Granny Clark's Wynd should be packed sand and 50% wider. You can ground your club.
