One could quibble about a few of the courses but the top 20 or so draw from the same 40 clubs.

huh?
Is he thinking of Portrush? (changing routing and adding holes off ValleY proerty?)

The original clubhouse was situated by the current 5th and 6th holes, so the course started with the 6th and finished with the par 5's 4th and 5th holes. They built a new clubhouse in the current location, and this rerouted the course to the way it is now (I believe this was done in the 1970's)
