Augusta Switching Nines

Augusta National switched their nines.  I was wondering what other courses might be better served by switching the back nine with the front nine.

What do you think about Spyglass Hill swapping nines?  Should the ocean holes be toward the climax?

Or what about swapping DIRECTION?  Weren't there some links courses that formerly did this?

Shinnecock switched their nines early on. That's the reason the 9th hole seems to be in the postion to the clubhouse that the 18th should be.

And of course NGLA switched their nines early on when the hotel behind present #9 (once #18 ) burned down.

Should Royal County Down switch its nines?  Sure, you'd start on a par 3, which I have no problem with, but what a finish!

I once commented before presenting a routing plan that we should purposefully mislabel the nines "because the client would be sure to switch nines in about a year..." You see, switching nines is a customary action of clubs. I can't explain this, but I see it about about 1/3 of the time at every club I'm asked to work with.

Fenway CC in Scarsdale NY has a very short opening hole for the membership that is drivable even for short hitting lefties like me on occasion.  For some tournaments, however, they start on #7 a really fine mid length dogleg left with a wickedly sloping green (even for Fenway).  #7 starts right near the clubhouse as do #'s 1 and 10.  They play 8, 9, 1-6 and then the back 9.
