I read the following article in today's Press & Journal regarding an upcoming conference aimed at GCAs to be held between 28 February and 3 March in Inverness which may be of interest to members of the Discussion Group:

The conference is being hosted by Adam Lawrence and there looks to be an excellent range of guest speakers. Further details are included on the Scottish Design Masters website (http://www.scottishdesignmasters.com). It appears that Adam has put a lot of work into the event and I'm looking forward to hearing how it goes.

I only became aware of it myself as it was the main story on the front cover of the P&J yesterday with a 2-page spread inside. Adam also did a short interview on BBC Radio too to publicise the event.


Didn't see it covered in any of the other Scottish newspapers though.

I was only lamenting that I had seen this so late on and that I already had something on for these dates as I would have definitely have been interested. It is great to see such events held in the area and I applaud you whole heartedly for arranging it. I am sure it will be a success.

For years golf centered around longer layouts and designs that catered to the "resistance to scoring" mentality.
