How many of the new Top 100 have you played? (Results in #28)

Of the 17 I have played I was comped at 7, joined 2 others and paid full boat at 8. I will always have a deep unwavering gratitude to those who made it possible for me to enjoy a free round. Oh God, does that make me happy.

Not the biggest belt notcher, but I'm at 30 with a trip already in the works that could add three more.

Played 41, walked another 3.

A number of my favorites have fallen off the list and I'm quite skeptical that their replacements are superior, but that's just me.

There's also a handful I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be interested in travelling very far to see.

Of the 87 I have not seen there is only one I would travel to play with strangers. Otherwise I would have already played them.

Wow - 11 - thought it would be more. Just looked at the Golf Week Modern & Classic lists and I've got 15 & 9 for those.


I consider myself well traveled and someone who likes to go play new courses it takes alot of effort to get to see what I have. How in the world people have the time to chase all of them is beyond me!!

Yes absolutely!!  An absolute joke that it's not in the GD top 100.  Talk about a course that would be fun to play everyday.  Loved it.

On the 2016 Golfweek lists I've played 49 Classic, walked 3 others and played 26 Modern which makes the GD listing a bit more perplexing once I see all of the great courses they seemingly missed, probably deeming them too short or not challenging enough based on their low-handicap viewpoint.

It's good to be Barney.  I've played 24, paying full fare at 16,  non-paying guest at 5 and comped at 3.  Just goes to show you - you never know who's really "got a ticket to ride."

24 for me, all full fare (Pebble Beach was $30). Also walked Pine Valley, Augusta and Merion.

I'm like Tom, with slightly lower numbers - 49 played, 68 seen and walked/toured in cart, etc.  With some of the new courses on the list, which I haven't seen, my number is actually down a few from the past.
