Aurora golf course shots
« on: December 30, 2016, 08:29:27 PM »
After posting on the B sides a couple of Aurora/ Northern lights shots from the course I thought I'd add a few more for a little change from blue skies and daylight. I hope you enjoy them.

I have never seen the Aurora even though I have spent time in Norway. Hope to one day. What is Wick GC like?

Andrew,

great photos. It is one of the many perks we get living up in the Highlands. I often go out on a night to enjoy the majesty of the Highland night sky.

Tommy,

Wick is one of the most underrated golf courses in the UK. If traditional no nonsense links golf with a course that has genuine rhythm to the round then you cannot go wrong with Wick.

We are lucky to get decent though not always spectacular displays over the darker months. Course wise Jon describes it well and I did a photo tour a while back http://www.golfclubatlas.com/forum/index.php/topic,61919.msg1470435.html#msg1470435

Thanks to all for the kind comments.

Yes Jon, it's great to make the most of the dark skies on a crisp winter night.
