JimK;

Not recently but lately I've refused to talk to snitches and anyone who plea bargains!

Tom,
I had never heard of Tommy Bird Songs, the architect at Fernandina, and thought you may have.

JimK;

Are you serious? No wonder I like the place with a name like that!

Could I suggest a few from England.  Royal Cinque Ports is about £60 for the day and does a 2 for 1 golf offer.  Just down the coast is Princes which is about £40 for the day.  One round at St Georges which is next door will cost you about £80.

Further down the coast is Littlestone which is well worth a visit - a lovely seaside course.  In the other direction is North Foreland which is an open championship qualifier and is abou £50 for the day.  I see you mentioned Hayling which is well worth a visit and reasonably priced too!!!

Wales is also good value - particularly North Wales.  The stretch of coastline from Chester down to Harlech has the North Wales Golf Club, The Caenarvonshire at Conwy, Abergele, Nefyn & District and Royal St Davids all very good value - you are looking in the region of anywhere between £30-50 for the day.  In particular although it looks quite a way on the map Royal St Davids is superb value - £30 per round !!

Hope this helps

Tom
