The Lester George work came a decade later, which makes one wonder what they did and didn't like from their decision to renovate Flynn's work. Perhaps that affection for water and sand that swept the nation in the 1980s and 1990s?
The other two courses, the Tuckahoe Creek (1988, Joe Lee) and Westhamption (1910, Barker, then Ross, then George), give the club 45 holes from which to choose. If we're fortunate, Lester will catch wind of this thread and he might give us a bit of an update on his work on 27 of the club's holes.
