Robin Hiseman -BBC News Quiz

Was just listening to a BBC comedy show with a feature on amusing newspaper headlines and public notices and they read one out which said that people who collected golf balls at Spey Bay Golf Club would have their balls removed.

The contributor had the same name as the titular architect. Surely not a coincidence?

In the past, people sometimes played a little game of trying to get an amusing short letter into The Times, but now that nobody reads papers any more, getting a clipping onto The News Quiz is a modern equivalent, and a golf-related one to boot. I bet Tom Doak has never done that!
