Thanks for posting. I grew up playing at Durand Eastman. The article mentioned Bud Habes who I used to sell used golf balls for at Durand. I grew up with his grandchildren. I wish the picture of the 4th green was clearer. That green complex is long gone. It was a great little par three.

I was a bit surprised that all 11 courses are still around.  I would have thought at least one would have gone under.

I think all the privates except Oak Hill, CCR, and Monroe are all struggling to some degree.

Joe that is pretty cool - surprised Genesee has been around that long.


I think most of the courses on that list have gone thru some level of struggle but I'm not sure Oak Hill, CCR & Monroe have any concerns. Lakeshore went public years ago.
