Kyle Phillips - Southern Gailes

There was a recent post on this subject.  I stumbled across this website (when looking for something else) which says a little more than the recent golf magazine articles.

That is not the writeup to make one want to hire Kyle or see the course.

The course is now called Dundonald after Lyle Anderson insisted on a name change.  Prince Andrew made the suggestion (whos going to say no to the captain of the R&A) and it was done.

I know a few people who played it about 3 weeks ago and they thought it was really hard.  I spoke with Kyle who said it was playing hard because they didn't have the proper mowers so the rough had gotten out of hand.  Supposdly all is well now?

Look for Kyles new course in Sacramento (Morgan Creek) to make some news when it opens in a few months.

John -

What did you find objectionable in that writeup? Seemed like a whole lot of nothing to me.

George, I am with you it was alot of nothing. I did not find it objectionable, just not inspiring or even interesting.
