I took my father there last summer to celebrate his 70th. We enjoyed it, which I'd attribute to the great weather and welcoming atmosphere among staff and golfers alike, but I wouldn't rush back unless I found myself in the area. I enjoyed the walkable routing, the simple portacabin clubhouse, the short 11th, and the practice putting green that I could have spent hours on just putting away.
I've found that good practice putting greens make for fun environments, whether private, public, or resort. I suspect you all knew this anyway.
