Machynlleth

My friend Rich Allen, who runs the Ecobunker artificial revet company, took these images a week or two ago while on a trip through mid-Wales... I got his permission to share them with the GCA crowd, as I thought they'd be enjoyable. I've seen a couple of shots of Machynlleth on here before, but nothing this enticing. Now want to visit... next time I'm in Aberdovey for sure.

Adam,

I too drove past many times in the old days, en route from Bath to Harlech via a cunning back route. Isn't there a Braid connection with Machynlleth? The turf looked lovely, in parts, although doubtless better in the period from April to October! One day, definitely...

Thanks for these. Just what I needed - another course I would like to see!

If in the area or passing by also try Welshpool.

I agree about the merits of Welshpool - Braid.

Thanks Adam,

Love the 4th photo down, where you cant quite tell if its bunkers, sheep, puddles or patches of snow littering the course  ;D

Cheers,

James
