My BlogCast, The Turfgrass Zealot Project has a great guest this week.

Josh Lewis was the superintendent at Chambers Bay for the 2015 US Open. Josh talks with me about his early career at Bandon Dunes Resort, Pasatiempo and his move to Chambers Bay. It's a candid and real conversation and I think GCA members will love the content.

Good listen Dave.  I am definitely going to start listening to the podcast.  One question I wish Josh would of gotten into is what they could have done better?  From afar it seems like they tried to get the greens and course too fast and firm.  Had they backed off just a touch they could of kept the greens smoother and had a little less chaos.  I thought the 16th fairway on Sunday didn't make sense.  It was a matter of chance whether the ball rolled into the bunker or not.
