Category A: This little guy had no problem letting us play through

Category B: The 18th at Caledonia just as a golfer in the group ahead splashes his approach shot in the Waccamaw River. You could hear everyone on the clubhouse porch betting on approaches from the 17th tee, and several dollars changed hands due to this poor result.

My official entry is above, but I had a couple of other cool shots worth sharing related to Category B:

Ryan Ruffles squaring off against Lucas Herbert (both top-5 amateurs at the time) in the Men's Pennant Final at Royal Melbourne West. Herbert took both the match and the Pennant.

My dad's tee ball on the 7th at Caledonia, as taken from the 14th green. Safe to say he took a mulligan and didn't worry about retrieving the original!

(A)
Late afternoon sunlight over the 14th hole at Galway Golf Club. The Burren sits on the other side of Galway Bay.

(B)
This is my dad, age 84, plays twice a week and still knocks the stuffing out of the ball. The approach to the par five 13th at Slieve Russell in Co. Cavan, Ireland. (Home course to Leona and Lisa Maguire). My interpretation of 'tradition of the game'... a sport for all ages.

Matt,  Your picture of # 10 at Shinnecock is nice but it was not taken in 2015.  There are no more trees on the left side of your picture, right side of the fairway.

David, I don't expect it will make any difference, as there are so many tremendous pictures in contention...

My picture was absolutely from 2015.  Unfortunately, and fortunately, I've been to Shinnecock but once in my life.  It was this past May (May, 20, to be specific).  It is the only time I've taken pictures of the course.

Kevin, the shot of your dad is a sentimental all-timer.
