I play there in the winter sometimes.I was born in SW Michigan, raised in Virginia and currently live in Clemmons, NC1-1/2 hrs from the mountains, less than 5 hrs from Myrtle Beach, and only 12 hrs from St. Andrews!
Encinitas Ca.The home of beautiful weather, beautiful women, endless waves and no courses worth a damn.
Originally from Indianapolis, I now live in a veritable golf desert: a small rural town in west-central Indiana called Cayuga (about 30 minutes southwest of Harrison Hills, just to provide some context).

There are worse places. I grew up in SE Indiana, half way between Indy and Cincinnati. We did have a great (very liberal use of the term) private club in town, but good public options were very lacking until you reached the Indy or Cincy areas.
