There's a gazillion of great 3 hole stretch's

starting this thread, I knew there would be a lot, but I'm actually amazed at all of the really high quality selections.


You can narrow your hits if you are locked into a hole order that goes par 3, 4 and then 5. If the holes don't need to be in that order, the odds are pretty high that a respected course will have a stretch of good holes with those pars.

Which is exactly why sequences that go 5, 3 should be eliminated. The par 5 followed by a par 3 is a defined compromise that promotes slow play.

Or a local one that no one will know about...but just 3 really fun holes...

Surprised that it took this long.

I' think the reason it took so long is that 5 is pretty weak.  Otherwise, it's a Katy Bar The Door, hands down winner

Actually, #5 at Ngla is a very difficult hole.
However, all this is moot because this stretch of holes doesn't qualify for discussion in this thread because #3 is a par four, #4 is The Redan and #5 is a par 4 as well.
