There are a few mentions of Beavertail on this site. It was a 1925 creation of AWT's for Audley Clarke that was built on Conanicut Island, RI (biggest city on the island is Jamestown). If Clarke's name sounds familiar it's because he was also involved in the development of NGLA and Engineer's CC.
The three photos below show the clubhouse, the Greenkeeper's cottage, and a not too revealing aerial view of the course. As you can see in the aerial view, the course spanned the a section of lower island ( south of Jamestown), touching Narragansett Bay on the west and Mackerel Cove on the east. It was bisected north to south by Beavertail Rd., although I'm not sure that was the name of the road in 1925.
