Dinosaur Mountain at Gold Canyon is a blast to play. The elevation changes alone make the course exciting, but the contours and rolling hills on some of the fairways make it interesting too. The backdrop is as pretty as the greater Phoenix area gets in my book. It's been a few years since I've played it, but I'd definitely head back there on a future AZ golf trip--even with the drive out there.
As for others on the list, would anyone skip a replay at the resort to play Bandon Crossings? Planning my first trip out there and my instinct is to stick with the resort courses. Good instinct?
