I did notice that there were a number of courses that could have made the scores higher if they had been played, especially in North Carolina. But you can't play them all.
Tommy,
You have played tons of courses -- so would love to see the NC courses you think would have scored well or that you at least would have liked to have seen included in this volume. Please share.
While South Carolina has more than its fair share of public and resort courses, North Carolina has more than its fair share of fine private course.
North Carolina courses I would liked to have seen in The Confidential Guide Volume 2. I noticed that the mountain courses will be reviewed in Volume 3 because they are closed in the winter. Many of NC’s best courses are in the mountains: Roaring Gap, Biltmore forest, Wade Hampton, Grandfather, Diamond Creek, Linville, and others.
Courses I would like to have seen in this volume are:
Greensboro CC The Farm Course
Sedgefield CC Ross Course
Old North State
Old Chatham
Governor’s Club
Myers Park
I’d like to know how they feel about the work done at Forsyth. I have not played it since the work was done.
