On the business side I don't think people understand how much time, work and money it takes to get a project off the ground.

From the design/building perspective I don't think people understand is the importance of surface drainage.

Routing and rhythm of the course
What is your meaning of rhythm in the context of the routing?

Adrian,

I mean the order of the difficulty of holes and easier holes during the round in relation to each other. For instants a course which is made up of 18 tough holes has no rhythm.

Jon - Understand. There have been a few times where I have had to sacrifice say three good holes because of they were too easy.
