David Savic(Architect)/John Northy(Shaper) from the Nicklaus Organization,have morphed a (20+)yr course bunker restoration into a full renovation,shrinking the many Sahara styled bunkers and adding complimentary fairway/greenside bunkers.The West/North are completed,with the East(9) under construction, ex.hole 9/East features a fairway bunker complex now incorporating a Tee visible cross bunker addition and a new rt. greenside pot bunker.
The original functional bunkering is now enhanced as a work of art providing a character never realized before,elevating the finished face lift a level of (1+).Those who have played New Albany need to visit again,and be pleasantly surprised.
