I believe copies of the book were available in St. Andrews last week during the Open. Let me see if I can find the name of a bookshop there that might have it for sale. I imagine the postage to ship from Scotland is a lot less than from the U.S.

It was for sale at the Open last week. I saw it in several shops around the road hole and the shops across from the Dunvegan. I'm pretty sure Waterstone also had copies in stock. There were several copies of Scott Macpherson's royal golf club book for sale and Waterstone had signed copies.

Its not all that unprecedented.  Chef Gordon Ramsey, who hails from the UK, (which everyone tells me to avoid the local fare should I ever visit there)...comes to America and shows everyone how to cook.

Kalen, I wonder if he will pass on his greatest trait which is to swear, curse, blaspheme and generally spoutinvective at evry opportunity! I have never eaten at any of his establishments because of his ghastly swearing at all and sundry in his kitchens!

I suspect he just does that to pull in the ratings.  Kinda like the old saying....no one goes bankrupt marketing/pandering to the lowest common demonitor in our society.
 
That being said, I too think he's a jackass, but his food looks damn good.  If he's got 16 Michelin stars, he must be doing something right I suppose.....
