That's a good question, David. I'll be interested to get your take on Old Sandwich when you are there. It might very well have just been the length of the day, and the fact that my body and brain were fried.
Reflecting on it, my original comments were driven by my perception of the demand for precision, especially on the approaches. And I can only imagine how difficult it would get with the wind blowing (it was relatively benign when we played it). The course would definitely be fun to learn, and you can score if you hit good shots (I was -1 through 10 before the wheels came off). It is just one of those courses though where you better show up ready to play, or it is going to be a long day.
