A little bit of a timeline:

1913ish: Merion pro George Sayers builds first 9 holes at Torresdale-Frankford C.C. at Frankford & Grant Avenues in Philadelphia, PA.

1921: Ross remodels 9 and builds 9 at Frankford & Grant.

For your timeline you may be interested to know that the first nine hole on the property were designed by then Merion pro George Sayers around 1913 if memory serves.

The photos are way too big for this site, but if you click on one it will take you to the Imgur site. Two more clicks will make the photos big and more viewable.

The course now plays 6609 yards from the tips. Holes 6,7, and 8 have been lengthened to 452, 486, and 505 respectively.

Scorecard:

Joe B, thanks for resizing the pics. The forum wouldn't allow me to modify my post last night after I realized I chose the "original" thumbnail setting on Imgur.

Mike, Thanks for that bit about Sayers. I added it to the timeline.

That's quite a slope from the back tee's on the scorecard. Wow.

That's the pre-renovation CR/Slope.  We haven't re-rated it yet.
