Notable Courses 1994-99
« on: May 12, 2015, 07:52:56 PM »
Hello,

I seem to have a black hole in my usually chapter and verse memory about certain things, and that is occurring right now as I ponder:

WHAT NOTED COURSES...GOOD, BAD, UNIQUE, LAUGHABLE...WERE MADE IN THE YEARS 1994-99?

What were the major works of this period? It seems like a strange crossover time, when the current tides were fomenting but some ridiculously overblown, overexpensive projects were outdoing one another...but what were they?

cheers

Howard:  I hate to disagree but the Dunes Club opened 1990ish.
The only way of really finding out a man's true character is to play golf with him. In no other walk of life does the cloven hoof so quickly display itself.

Golfweek and others have it as opening in 1995.
