Looks like it will be an all mid-am final. Smith & White just beat high-schoolers Connelly & Burns in one semi and the other semi (Briit/Earnhardt vs. Harvey/Mitchell and all square thru 18 holes) is between 2 mid-am teams.

Indeed. Nathan Smith is nearing legend status among amateur golfers (unless he's already attained it with his four Mid-Am titles).

I think he passed "nearing" a couple of Mid Ams ago. Man,can he play.

Apart from the hitch, the swing is actually quite nice. From my observations last night, he just has the perfect demeanor for golf.

I thought it interesting the announcer said O-Lake is his favorite course. I'd have thought he would favor hometown Oakmont in the "virtually impossible to play for anyone over a 2 handicap" category.

Briit/Earnhardt just won in 19 holes. Britt is 49, Earnhardt is 46. Just walking the Lake Course 7 times in 5 days is no easy task.
